PHOTOS: INEC begins distribution of sensitive materials across Oyo
The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Oyo State, has commenced the distribution of sensitive materials ahead of Saturday’s general elections.
The distribution of the sensitive materials to all 33 local government areas was done in the early hours of Thursday.

The distribution, which was done at the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, had representatives of political parties amidst tight security.
The exercise confirmed the readiness of the commission to conduct the 2023 general election starting Saturday, February 25 a, nd also on March 11.
Adeniran Tella, the Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state told newsmen that the exercise commenced around two o’clock in the morning.

Tella, who announced that the materials would be redistributed to polling centers while registration area centers would be activated, on Friday, assured residents of credible, fair, and acceptable polls in the state.
Members of two different political parties in the state, Idowu Awokoya and Tajudeen Olanife expressed satisfaction with the exercise.
