In a chat with Kemi Filani News, the svelte role interpreter outlined the lessons she has learnt over the years in Nollywood.
“I have learnt to be calm, to honour people around me. I have learnt so many things about the industry and I am happy”.
On how she has been able to stay away from scandals, she said: “A lot of people call me a controversy-free actress. I am happy about that. I make sure I stay away from trouble. I stay away from things that don’t bring good energy. I don’t want any bad energy around me”.
Asked if she reacts to the negative things said about her within her industry, she replied: “They don’t say negative things about me. I have male friends, I don’t have female friends. If you want to have friends, you have to be selective. Don’t just allow people into your life. Once they know so much about you, they will sell you out. That’s the female gender for you. You know how we behave”.
Omo Jinad also added that she is willing to give love a chance as long as the man understands her career and loves her son.
“Hopefully why not? I hope. As long as the man will understand my kind of job, understand me and take my son as his own. That is the first thing.”
The bubbly role interpreter also said she gets attention from her male fans and manages them well.
“As a woman, I try to manage them. There is nothing one can do about it. As a woman, if men are not attracted to you then you need to go and wash your head. I know how to manage them. Thanks for loving me guys”.
Shedding light on a movie project she just unveiled, Jinad stated: “The movie is titled’ Irete Alaje’.It means a messenger of wealth. It’s out . I featured the likes of Ayo Adesanya, Joshua Jinad, Biodun Adebanjo, Saidi Balogun and others in the movie”.
