Mr Chijioke Edeoga Resigned resign from his duties in order to pursue his political ambition, this was made known to his staff that works with him during his stays as the former chairman of House Committee on Information on Friday, March 25.
Mr Chijioke Edeoga; a former Chairman House Committee on Information, at the House of Representative, Abuja and the current Commissioner for Environment at Enugu State has resigned his appointment as the Commissioner.

While addressing the staff of the ministry in his farewell remark, Edeoga said his voluntary resignation was to enable him to pursue his political aspiration and also to align himself with the provisions of the newly amended Electoral Act, 2022.
Edeoga, was noted to have also picked the governorship form of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to contest the governorship position in the state in the 2023 general election.
