Ghana had held Nigeria to a goalless draw five days ago when the Super Eagles were hosted in Kumasi.
The Nigerian national football team, however, traded their ticket to Qatar after they failed to win their match last night.
The 1-1 draw yesterday was an advantage to Ghana considering the competition rules.
The 1-1 draw automatically disqualified Nigeria from joining their counterparts in Qatar.
Reacting, however, to the disappointing result, Kalu who currently is the Chief Whip of the Nigerian Senate, urged the Federal Government to sack the management of the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF.
Kalu said the the current NFF management have failed the nation and all football lovers for failing to produce good results in the last five years.

The politician suggested they should be sacked and replaced with a more tactical and better one immediately.
Senator Kalu made the call in a post on his official Facebook page moments after the match.
He wrote: “What a sad night for all soccer lovers! It is high time the entire Management of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) is overhauled.
“In the past five years, we have exercised patience with incompetence that should ordinarily be the best, not just in Africa, but the world.
“The reality is that football is the same with science courses like Medicine and Engineering where you can’t cut corners, otherwise, you produce quack and incompetent people.
“The Federal Government and Nigerians have supported the NFF beyond measures and since they can’t give us the needed result, they should be sacked for a better and more tactical management.”
