HOUSEHELP NARRATES HOW SHE RAN AWAY WITH A TWO YEARS OLD BOY IN LAGOS

A 14 year old girl,  Favour   Iwuzor a housemaid in Lagos on 3rd January 2022 was arrested by the Ogun state police for fleeing with her boss’s 2 years old son.

According to the father of the victim, the suspect attended church service with their two children. His wife left the church because she received a call from one of her customers and she left the suspect and her two children in the church, leaving instructions to make sure they all return to her shop after church, Favour however ran with her son.

Furthermore, it was stated that the girl was begging for alms saying that the little boy is her younger brother and their parents died in an accident, out of pity a woman saw them and took them to her house Sagamu to take care of the little boy’s health condition.

During this process, the boy fully recovered, the suspect wanted to take the little boy to Imo state which aroused the woman’s suspicion, hence her report.

Upon the report, the D.P.O Sagamu Division, C.S.P Okiki Agunbiade detailed his detectives to go and bring the girl and the little boy.

On the interrogation, the little girl confessed that she was a maid to the mother of the little boy and she left with the boy on the 19th December 2021 with the motive of taking the boy to Amraku Umorsu in Isiala/Mberna local government area of Imo state.

She further stated that she took the baby from the church during the Sunday school period since the Sunday school teacher knows her with the baby’s mother, she had no problem releasing the baby to her.

Giving more updates, the men of the Ogun State    Police command D.S.P Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the suspect was arrested following a complaint lodged at Sagamu divisional headquarters by a good samaritan named Victoria Nwafor, who reported that she saw a 14-year-old girl on the 22nd of December 2021, with a very sick two years old boy in Yaba, Lagos.
