GFF holds inter- school debate competition: St.Monica emerge winner
The debate which took place at the premises of Independence Grammar School Ondo, Along – Ondo -Ore Road Ondo City was on the topic: Should the Voting Age Be Lower To 16
After representatives of both schools argued for and against the last round of the debate, the judges pronounced St.Monica the winner of the competition with 78% while St.Joseph garnered 67%.
Barr. Gbenga Fawehinmi the founder of GFF who organized the competition through the program manager Mr.Joshua Aremu, said it was organized to train students in public schools to be vocal and know their worth because they are essential as leaders of tomorrow.
Mr.Banji Fawehinmi Chief Executive Officer of the organization commended the participants/representatives of all school presents for their performance, and urge them to show their respective skills as GFF is ready to give them a platform to raise to stardom.

In his maiden speech, he highlights what GFF stands for which are eradication of illiteracy and putting students on scholarship schemes.
Other schools that participated in the competition are;
St.Helens came to distance third, CAC grammar school, St, Ambrose, St.James, Holy Trinity, and the host school Independence Grammar School.
Gani Fawehinmi Foundation is a nongovernmental organization founded in the year 2016 by Barr.Gbenga Fawehinmi.
St.Monica Girls Grammar School who came first was presented with a cash prize of #250,000 with a trophy while the Second runner up which is St.Joseph College was presented with a cash prize of #150,000 and the third place school St. Helens Secondary School was presented with #100,000 cash prize.
