- On Monday, 24th January 2022, The personal assistant to president Muhammadu Buhari on digital and new media Bashir Ahmed reacted to reports of the minister of finance, budget and national planning, Mrs Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed, has resigned.
Bashir in a tweet via his official Twitter page, said the rumor making the rounds is untrue.

‘’He said the minister’s aide confirmed to him that the rumor was false’’.
He also said , there is a rumor going around that the honorable minister of finance, Budget and National planning Mrs Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed has resigned.
