Yesufu said her husband instead now prefers to call her “Labour Party”.
She disclosed this in a post via her verified Twitter handle.
The social critic is a known, strong supporter of Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate.
Aisha Yesufu has been popular as an activist who has been a strong critic of the government. She is a NIgerian activist and businesswoman. She co-founded the BringBackOurGirls movement. Which brings everyone’s attention to the abduction of over 200 girls from a secondary school in Chibok, Nigeria on 14 April 2014, by the terrorist group Boko Haram.

She has also been prominently involved in the End SARS movement against police brutality in Nigeria. In which, she has been a motivation to the youths during the protest in the Year 2020.
She wrote, “My husband is now calling me Labour Party instead of the baby or Osotse (beautiful) that he usually calls me. I can’t wait for the election to be over to go back to being the pampered baby girl I am.”
